What is Encryption?
Encryption is a process by which we use
software to scramble sensitive information
while in transit to Ray Padula. We
encourage you to take a moment to read about
the steps that we have taken to help protect
all of your personal information and make
your online transmissions easier.
How does Encryption
Work?
Encryption is based on a key that has two
different parts. The public part and
the private part. The public part of
the key is distributed to those you want to
communicate with. The private part is
for the recipient's use only.
When you send personal information to us via
RayPadula.com, you use the Ray Padula public
key to encrypt your information. That
means, if at any point during transmission,
your information is intercepted, the
scrambled information is nearly impossible
to decrypt. Once Ray Padula receives
your encrypted personal information, we use
the private part of the key to decode it.
 What
kind of encryption software does Ray Padula
use?
Ray
Padula currently uses the Industry Standard
SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) form of
encryption. Any time you are required
to send personal information (or credit card
information) to us, your browser should read
"https" not "http" - if the webpage you are
entering information on does not read
"https" do not enter your information, the
connection is not secure - "S" for secure.
What kind of
information does Ray Padula Encrypt?
Ray
Padula encrypts all information provided to
us when you place an order online.
How safe is encryption
really?
Providing encrypted information over the
internet is as safe (if not safer) than
placing an order over the phone. For
example: When you place an order online,
your credit card is automatically charged
the totals - we do not receive your credit
card information at any time.
